Mojo Mingle
Born with a mission to prioritise connection.
As a social butterfly, traveller, and shy singleton, I (Sarah Rus) founded Mojo Mingle out of sheer frustration with the online dating disaster that was common amongst my friends.
In a society where swiping is second nature, I wanted to help people get back to basic relationship building.
During my worldly adventures, I connected with some truly amazing people and developed tight-knit friendships. These relationships began from simply sharing experiences.
Tired of requests for takeaway sex and being treated disrespectfully by men in the online atmosphere, I decided to take matters into my own hands.
I was baffled by the lack of authenticity that’s so characteristic of hook ups and Internet dating.
Even guys I’d matched with online, were telling me horror stories of scams and false photos etc.
For me
Experiences are the best way to connect with new people.
Secondary to my love for planning adventures, I came to realise my ability to connect people.
The key was to bring like-minded people together to share an activity.
It felt destined for me to create Mojo Mingle. I love that it’s a fun solution to the world of disposable connections.
At the heart of the business is a desire for true connection. Everyone wants to be loved, honoured and valued, and that’s where Mojo Mingle advocates for those who are single.

Mojo Mingle offers more than singles events. We’re a social network. Curated events create opportunities for you to take part, and connect.
Relax amongst like-minded folk in a safe environment. Meet real live humans and share an experience.
Take your time and invite people to get to know you.
This isn’t speed dating. You don’t need to sit through a conversation that’s stifling. Nor does your conversation get cut off after five minutes.
You create the flow.
Our guests invest time and energy getting to know each other. We’re here to assist you foster and maintain those connections.
Mojo Mingle provides a forwarding service. After an event, complete our feedback form, and we’ll do the rest. We also have a few closed Facebook groups to reconnect with each other.

2. INTEGRITY
Mojo Mingle delivers exceptional service. We’ve innovated to now connect people offline and online.
We rely on positive community participation for success. Everyone involved with Mojo Mingle acts with integrity.
How so? Well…
We expect clients to honour their bookings and appointments. If running late to an event, guests communicate via SMS or email. We love it when clients attend events as planned and arrive on time. We encourage attendees to be authentic, honest and reliable. Things work best when we all respect personal boundaries. This means, asking for consent before initiating intimacy. Also, guests need to settle any outstanding payments before leaving an event.
We need to know that you’re a solid human, so show up, be integral and do the right thing.

3. HEALTH
Socialising boosts self-esteem and improves mental health.
Mojo Mingle social gatherings keep you on your toes. Physical activities such as bike riding, and lawn bowling ensure we’re active. These types of events also allow guests to have fun whilst making new friends.
We choose venues that cater for those with special dietary requirements. Our gatherings are smoke and drug-free environments. Sober socialising is our preferred status.
We design Mojo Mingle social gatherings with respect to the personal health of our attendees and the planet.
We support local, sustainable and ethical businesses.

Aren’t people just waaaay too serious these days?
At Mojo Mingle we like to share laughs with new people, and that means we’re all for having fun.
School systems and workplaces trained many of us to be dulled-down versions of ourself… but at Mojo Mingle, we want to see you shine.
Channel your inner four-year old and don’t be afraid of being silly.
Own your quirks.
Laugh at yourself and with others – it’s a great way to connect.
Bonus points if you have a really lame Dad joke to share (Sarah loves them!).

Everyone has a unique story to share.
Mojo Mingle events acknowledge individual preferences and help connect like-minded people. Not everyone wants to attend a sit down dinner, or be active in nature. As such, we plan various activities to suit our community.
You can meet up with us at local venues to save you time on travel. Or, or you can explore destinations further afield to broaden your horizons. Mojo Mingle runs in-person events to keep you on your toes. You can access our virtual events globally.

Mojo Mingle respects your privacy. We have no public profiles.
Personal information and preferences collected from our subscribers guides our services. This useful information helps us tailor events to the taste of our Mojo Mingle community.
Our house rules (see below) and Terms and Conditions are in place to ensure that everyone is on the same page. Mojo Mingle event attendees, and staff, are to treat each other with respect at all times.
